August 30, 2010/A Day of Mourning

So, I really don't have much to write about today. Didn't do much until the evening and when I went out this evening, I did a lot of crying. I visited James' grave site for the first time. He died one year ago today... So my friend Juliet and I went out for the first time together and then went and visited the crash site again before calling it a night. Tomorrow we plan on going out and listening to some music with him.

But we went out and lit some candles and his prents came over shortly after we left and his dad left me a message saying that he loved the candles. I thought they were perfect.

Juliet and I did a lot of crying. There were other people out there when we got there so I can't wait to go out there tomorrow and actually get to talk to him.

Love you James. Miss you so much that it hurts!!!

August 27, 2010/Clueless

I really don't know what to write about today.

My puppies kept me up most of the night and then I worked in the morning and after that, I came home and got changed and ready to hangout with Juliet... We went back to James' crash site and brought some more candles with us... There were no candles lit tonight so we relit the four the we had left the night before.

But tomorrow is the benefit at our local skate park in memory of James and I can WAIT!!! So, for my photo today, I just decided that I would post a pick of my tattoo since I did get it in memory of James =)

So we never forget =)

Oh and I forgot to write in my post yesterday, it took a year but it finally happened! We are finally getting justice for James!! The driver of the car that hit James has been indicted on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol!!!

JUSTICE FOR JAMES!!!

August 26, 2010/6 Days Late/RIP James

Yeah, I kind of got sick for a while and forgot to keep posting but I remembered today cuz today is a sad day and a day a rememberance.

On this day, one year ago, there was a women who decided that she was going to have a little too much alcohol to drink. After she drank that alcohol, she decided to get behind the wheel of her car, and the one decision changed the lives of an uncountable amount of people.

"James Short, age 24, of New Philadelphia Ohio (Mar. 18, 1985-Aug 30, 20), was a professional roller blader and musician who was hit by a drunk driver, only a few blocks from his home, while on his motorcycle on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. He died from a head injury on August 30, 2009. Doris Caranda age 48 was the driver, with a blood alcohol level of .221, and bag of marijuana in the car, as well as a prior DUI. (ohio legal limit is .08). He was sponsored by many companies in his career, including Xjsado and Remz skates, 9mm, Ground Control, SIC Apparel, and INRI Cloth. He recorded many original songs and had a CD released posthumously. The James Short Memorial Skate Session is held yearly near the anniversary of his death each August in his area."

This year, I actually got to go to his candle light memorial and I took pictures and left a few candles of my own. James was just my friend in passing but the things that we got to talk about and the impact he left on my life will never leave me the same person I was before. I miss him dearly and wish that one day, when I went back to the skate park, that he would be there, skating around on the ramps. Deeply missed and loved =' ) Life have never been the same since.

August 20, 2010/I lose. Haha

Well, first off, I didn't post anything for yesterday and didn't even remember to post anything earlier today for it...  Had an awkward and busy morning. But today was my mom's birthday so there is something good and normal to talk about. But as for waking up this morning and finding what I found, it's weird...

I found Jethrow.

Jethrow is one of the bulls that inhabit the field next to my horses field. He'e kind of an escape artist. But this morning we found him IN out horse field. He was just chillin in the corner. He's a big teddy bear though. But as of the time that I left for work, he was under out apple trees helping himself to the apples because our neighbor hadn't came and escorted him to his field yet. Actually, it is almost 2am and for all I know, he is still in the field... Haha. But I decided that I would post a picture of Jethrow standing in my horse field today. Haha

This pic does not do justice for Jethrow... It makes him look very thin the way they compressed it together. Jethrow is a Bull ladies and Gents... He's friggen HUGE!!! Haha. That fence beside him is approx. 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall to give you an idea of how tall he is.

August 18, 2010/Another Birthday =)

On this date, four years ago, two things happened...

Well, the first thing that happened was, I got my tounge pierced =) But the best thing that happened, happened later in the night... I believe it was in the 11 o'clock hour, but I would have to ask my sister-in-law to be sure, but my first nephew was born.

And my life was never the same after that. William is the oldest of three and he is so far the most rotten.

So to celebrate his birthday, I will post a picture that I stole from Kayla's facebook... Haha.

KAYLA!!! I AM SORRY IF YOU ARE USING THIS PICTURE ALSO!!! But it was just too cute to pass up. Haha.

August 17, 2010/Ouch =(

You know, two years ago I got my left bottom wisdom tooth pulled becasue I was having so many issues with it. Well, it wasn't all that bad after a while. I didn't even need any pain killers with that tooth and by day 2, I felt nothing and went on good from that.

Well today, I had the other bottom one removed... Needless to say, this one didn't come out quite as easy as the other tooth did. It took the hottie dentist 30 minutes to get my tooth out. It was very painful. It started with the pushing, like always. He pushed and tried to break it loose to pull out. Well, that didn't work. I knew there was going to be issues when I heard the stereotypical phrase, "Scapel!" And in my mind I went, "Oh shit!"

Well, looking in my outh later, I noticed that he made an incision from back beside my tooth all the way up to my third molar so that my he could see the bone. Then he did more digging and more pushing and then he did something that kind of made my heart race... He tested the drill... That was not a pleasant feeling when he started drilling my tooth. then I could heat some cracking and there was more tugging and pressure when finally I hear the dentist assistant say, "I don't see any more." I breathed a major sigh of relief. So, he sewed my gum up and then I was ready to leave. He let me know everything I could and could not do for the next week and then let me leave with a perscription for vicodin in hand.

So now I sit here, mouth throbbing even with vicodin and Ibprofen running through my system. Trying to relax while watching Psych but these puppies definently aren't letting me do that. Haha. But now I need a pic to post and I thought about taking a pic of my stitches but I figured that would be a little gross so instead I am going to post a pick of the things making me just a bit happier =)

Mmm... My friends =)

August 16, 2010/Slow Day

It's been a really slow but sorta busy day today.

Those rotten puppies had me up at 5:30a cuz they had to go to the bathroom and when we finally got back to bed at 6, we had to get up at 7:30a. My grandpa had an eye dr. appointment so I had to do the things that he usually did in the morning. So, I fed the pups while I went outside and fed the other animals.
Then when they were done, I let them play a bit more until they went potty and started to wear down. We finally got to go back to bed around 8:30a. But the big dogs downstairs barked aobut every half an hour because they were waiting for my grandpa to get home, so when he finally got home, they shut up. Haha.

Well, finally I got them to go asleep and stay asleep. Although they did wake up about every hours to have a short wrestling match and then they fell back asleep.Well, we all finally got up at 11:30a and came downstairs so they could go back outside and play again. That routine stays until about 3p when we packed up the puppies to go visit my brothers girlfriend and her sons. Needless to say, Quinten didn't enjoy the ride but when we got there, him and Sophie  just played and played and kept the two boys that were there, very busy. Haha.

Then we went to Petz Place to buy them some toys that they could chew on and they've been busy with those ever since. I am just waiting for them to wake up now so that they can eat one last time for the day. Haha. So, I will just have to post another pick of my rotten babes since that's what I have been going on and on about =)

Poor hard workin' puppies =)
